Who we are
Molaris Lodges is a four-star hotel in Mühlbach (also known as Rio di Pusteria), at the western end of South Tyrol’s Val Pusteria/Pustertal, 777 metres above sea level. Ours is a family-run house, and it brings together three things: days out in the Gitschberg Jochtal mountains, the Molaris Spa with its three pools and five saunas, and South Tyrolean cooking, served as our gourmet three-quarter board. Ten categories of room and suite, from 25 to 49 m², sleeping two to four, are made for deep and proper rest.

As the heart of Molaris Lodges, we, the Egger-Silginer family and our entire team can’t wait to thoroughly spoil you and give you the holiday of a lifetime! Molaris Lodges has been a family-run hotel for generations, so the passion and hospitality with which we look after our guests with has been passed all the way down to us. When Manfred isn’t on a motorcycle tour with our guests along the most beautiful roads of South Tyrol, when Margareth isn’t busy with her pots and pans in the hotel kitchen, you’ll find us at reception from early in the morning and late into the night. What are the Molaris Lodges?
Molaris Lodges is a family-run four-star hotel in Mühlbach, in South Tyrol’s Val Pusteria/Pustertal. It brings together active holidays, the Molaris Spa with its three pools and five saunas, and South Tyrolean cooking, served as our gourmet three-quarter board. Your hosts are the Egger-Silginer family, and the hotel is a member of Selected Hotels.
Who is it for?
The hotel suits people who like to be out and about – walking, biking, skiing, touring by motorbike – as well as spa guests, anyone who comes for the food, and families. There are room categories and programmes to suit couples, solo travellers and families alike, and on selected offers children stay free.
What does a stay cost?
Package offers start at around €532.00 per person for four nights, including our gourmet three-quarter board. Current offers run from winter specials (Advent breaks, ski pass discounts) through biking and spa weeks in autumn to sports car tours in summer. When is the best time to come?
Each season has its own appeal. Winter, December to April, is for skiing, ski touring, cross-country, winter walking, tobogganing and the run-up to Christmas. Spring, March to May, brings ski touring and the start of the biking season. Summer, June to September, is for walking and cycling. Autumn, October to November, is the season for Törggelen – the South Tyrolean harvest tradition of new wine, roast chestnuts and hearty food – and for chestnut walks.

What rooms and suites are there?
Ten categories, from 25-49m²: Standard Basic Room, Panoramic Room, Alpenrose Junior Suite, Seerose Junior Suite, Alpin Lodge, Living Dream, Molaris Suite, Spa Suite, Classic Family Suite, and Premium Family Suite. All sleep two to four people.
How do I get there?
By car, take the A22 Brenner motorway (exit Brixen-Pustertal) and the Val Pusteria/Pustertal main road to Mühlbach. By rail, the Val Pusteria/Pustertal line runs to Mühlbach, as does the bus; the stop is 200 m from the hotel. By air, SkyAlps flies to Bolzano– ask about our special offer – with a shuttle on from there. There’s more on our Arrival page.
What's included?
